As part of our 25th business anniversary, we wanted to celebrate in true style by pledging to raise £25,000 for five worthwhile charities.

Our company-wide initiative will see every member of the team take part in a series of events in aid of five charities – the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Peter Pan Nursery, Motor Neurone Disease Association, Guide Dogs for the Blind, and Cancer Research UK.

“To have reached our 25 years in business is a huge cause for celebration,” explained Andrew Lowe, Managing Director of Orton Group. “I set up the business when I was just 21 years old, and we have grown to employ some of the industry’s top mechanical and electrical engineers, and work with some of the nation’s biggest rail, social housing, new build and domestic housing organisations.

“We decided that there was no better way to celebrate than giving back to our local community and making a pledge to raise funds for charities close to our hearts. Since we announced it, we have already taken part in some of our events, and have so far raised a fantastic amount of £4,172.”
