At Orton, we live and breathe our value of giving back to the community. And we do this in a number of ways, from providing apprenticeships, to raising money for various charities and local initiatives including Acorn Children’s Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Research.
This year is no exception, as we celebrate Orton Group’s 25th anniversary by pledging to support five chosen charities – Guide Dogs for the Blind, Peter Pan Nursery, Motor Neurone Disease Association, Cystic Fibrosis Trust, and Cancer Research UK.
We reached the fundraising target of £25,000 by undertaking various challenges – some harder than others, such as an Ultra White Collar Boxing match, completion of Tough Mudder, and a climb of the hardest routes of Mount Snowdon (and much more).
We’ve also renewed our two-year sponsorship of the Trysull Tigers which provides the Tigers West under 9s team with football kits for the current season. And with a number of us being avid golfers, we’ve also become proud Tee Signage Sponsors at Penn Golf Club.
